Personal Development Education (PDE)
At Manshead CE Academy, students study a Personal Development Education (PDE) programme between years 7 and 12. This PDE programme covers aspects of the SRE, PSHE, Citizenship and British Values curriculum. Students in years 7,8,9 10 and 11 have this curriculum content taught in Curriculum days spread across the academic year. Students in Year 12 are taught in 1 hour lessons in their timetabled week, with subjects taught on rotation. SRE, PSHE, Citizenship and British Values are also taught in all subject areas as part of their specific curriculum content.
