Year 7 Castles
Our Year 7 History students have recently been studying the Battle of Hastings and England from 1066 onwards. Within this module we have been assessing how William gains and retains control in the country, and one of the key methods he used was building Motte and Bailey castles. Students have worked exceptionally hard over the Christmas holidays to produce some fantastic examples of castles of their own. A selection of these can be seen in this blog post (and in Reception now!) but all students showed excellent commitment to their studies. Well done year 7!
