DofE Silver Expedition to Peak District
Sometimes we get lucky with the weather, and sometimes we don’t…….. …… shortly before the heavens opened and the wind started blowing.
Wow that really was a wild, wet and windy trip!
The two groups did exceptionally well to keep smiling through such extraordinary conditions, and the School Hall is now decorated with tents being dried out!
Here are our two groups setting out in the dry and still of Friday morning……
On the bright side, this was their Practice expedition, so having survived this they should find that their Assessed expedition in July will be much more comfortable.
And of course, regardless of the conditions, there is only ever one way to end a Silver or a Gold expedition!
