Battle of the Bands 2016

Funkhead, our very own school funk band, took part in the Bedfordshire Battle of the Bands on Tuesday evening at the Stables in Milton Keynes.  Funkhead is a 12 piece band made up of students from Year 8 to Year 13, and after playing an amazing two-song set, the judges voted us through to the final four.  Despite an impressive final performance we were pipped to the winning post by a band from Bedford College.  Funkhead were well deserved runners-up in a highly competitive field of 11 school bands.  Well done to all of the students  – Manshead is proud of you.
